COURSE OVERVIEW

The work of a fashion journalist includes writing or editing articles on fashion trends, clothing and accessories for newspapers, magazines, websites and other digital media. Being well connected in the fashion scene, a fashion journalist also helps to formulate and style fashion shoots. Researching and conducting interviews is an essential work of the fashion journalist and he or she must develop good contacts with people in the fashion industry.

The Diploma in Fashion Journalism imparts the core skills needed to carry out photo shoots, layout fashion spreads for magazines and other digital media, fashion writing, the art of interviewing and presentation.

This course equips students with the knowledge and develop communication skills to understand the various functions of the fashion media, such as fashion writers, fashion critics and fashion reporters.
