COURSE OVERVIEW

The study of Interior Design encompasses the study of both architectural and design contained within a built environment while focusing on the human interface within a given space. This course provides intensive training for students to become professional interior designers. Emphasis is placed on space planning, creative problem-solving, communication skills and knowledge of building materials, construction, computer-aided drafting and the history of design.

Milad Mohammadipour completed his Interior Design Diploma at Raffles Kuala Lumpur in 2015 before pursuing his degree in Interior Architecture at Griffith College Dublin.

During his visit to Raffles Kuala Lumpur recently, he shared his experience as an interior design student at Raffles. He attributed his success to his time as a student at Raffles Kuala Lumpur where the subjects he learned built the foundation for his future studies and developing skills in his practice as an interior designer during his work in Dublin.

BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design (Top-Up) – Awarded by Coventry University, United Kingdom

The BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design course offer an opportunity to design for different uses and contexts in interior architecture and design.  The course covers a range of projects dealing with small to large spaces, anything from branding to workspaces, health and education, incorporating retail, commercial and domestic settings. Students will be able to draw from a wide source of projects in Asia, participate in competitions and collaborative projects and work in multidisciplinary teams. This will increase their global employability and prepare them to launch their own business.
