COURSE OVERVIEW
The Diploma in Fashion Technology focuses on fashion production. Students hone their skills in apparel production, planning, and control to conceive tailored garment, mastering techniques such as cutting and sewing, draping, and pattern making.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Master construction and patternmaking techniques to translate a designer’s sketch into the full realization of a garment.
- Create and develop complex patterns both manually and through digital software.
- Use crafting techniques on fabrics, accessories and construction elements, from draping to embroidery and manipulation.
- Master techniques in the areas of bespoke tailoring, couture, RTW, costume design, and historical garments
