As the Executive Director and Group CEO of L&P Global Berhad, as well as the CEO of Berjayapak Sdn Bhd, Ms. Lay Pheng has made remarkable contributions to the business world. With a decade of experience in the healthcare industry and a strong educational background, including studying and working in the USA for 10 years, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.
Ms. Lay Pheng’s visionary approach to business has led to phenomenal growth and success for the companies she leads. Under her leadership, L&P Global Berhad has expanded its presence from one to five locations in Malaysia and Vietnam, experiencing a double-digit compounded growth rate for the past five years. Her innovative strategies, particularly in incorporating sustainability elements into the business model, have been instrumental in driving the exponential growth of the group.
It comes as no surprise that Ms. Lay Pheng’s outstanding achievements have been recognized by numerous industry accolades. Some notable awards include the Sustainability Business Awards by Global Initiatives for Supply Chain Management in 2021, the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability – Asia Leading SMEs award in 2020, and the Golden Bull Award for Outstanding SME in 2018. Last year, she was honoured as the Malaysian Ernst & Young (EY) Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, highlighting her exceptional leadership and contributions.
