Raffles Kuala Lumpur Interior Design students triumphant again in the Design Excellence Awards 2017 Awards Ceremony – Spatial Design Awards (SPADE) winning 1 Silver and 2 bronzes in two categories: Silver and Bronze for Hospitality Design and the other Bronze for Sustainable Design.

Organised by the Interior Design Confederation Singapore, the region’s most anticipated interior design competition Design Excellence Awards 2017. The Design Excellence Awards sets to recognise the best of interior design in the commercial, residential and public categories in Asia Pacific, endorsing and celebrating the achievements of practitioners and students alike.

With DEA, IDCS seeks to champion design excellence, as well as elevate and promote the quality and standards of interior design. The 5th cycle of the awards is marked by the introduction of 12 new categories including Exhibition Design, Sustainable Design, Environmental Design, Project of the Year, Emerging ID Firm of the Year, Top 3 ID Firm of the Year and AkzoNobel Colour Award. Design Excellence Awards consist of two competition tracks: 1. Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) for interior designers and firms 2. Spatial Design Awards (SPADE) for students Submission
