The Diploma in Applied Psychology aims to provide students with a good fundamental of theoretical knowledge and practical application in Psychology. The course is specifically designed to provide a multi-disciplinary introduction to creative thinking, skeptical inquiry, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills through in and outside classroom exposure and opportunities in academic or professional contexts. Priority is also given to developing independent and lifelong learning.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

MALAYSIAN ENTRY REQUIREMENT

  • SPM / IGCSE / O-Level: at least credit in 3 subjects
  • UEC: Grade B in 3 subjects
  • SKM Level 3 in the related field; (Note: The HEPs are required to conduct screening and provide appropriate bridging courses specific to the discipline of the programme)
  • A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in the related field with at least a CGPA of 2.00
  • STPM / A-Level: at least Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in any subject
  • STAM: at least Grade Maqbul
  • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
INTERNATIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENT

  • IGCSE / O-Levels: 3 Credits
  • International High School Equivalent

 

ENGLISH COMPETENCY

  • MUET: BAND 3.0
