Continuing with the series of ID Students Field Trips, our final year Diploma students visited LightCraft where they were exposed to real-life applications of various light fixtures and the ergonomic requirements necessary for residential and commercial projects.
Our Year 1 students were greeted at Goodrich Global; Plaza Damas with heaps of product information and samples. They got to see, feel, and touch actual material samples and amassed product knowledge shared by the wonderful team from Goodrich Global.
Field Trips to KIAN & FISKE – After appreciating the historical evolution of furniture and wrapping up research on new-wave furniture designers, our senior Year 2 Interior Design students were taken out of their classroom and visited Fiske and Kian Contract and got real with the furniture design and production process.
During these two field trips, our ID students were given pointers on the furniture-making processes by both the furniture designer and production manager.
Field trips are added invaluable out-of-classroom knowledge to our young aspiring Interior Designers.
