RESILIENCE 303: ‘Failed’ Successfully Exhibition Showcases the Power of Growth

The Diploma in Creative New Media Technology students from Raffles Kuala Lumpur proudly presented RESILIENCE 303: ‘Failed’ Successfully, an inspiring final-year exhibition that celebrated creativity through the lens of failure, experimentation, and growth.

For the first time ever, the Final Year Project Exhibition was opened to the public, inviting guests to experience the raw and authentic side of design. The showcase featured the works of 15 graduating students, each offering a unique interpretation of resilience — highlighting the importance of learning from challenges and turning setbacks into strength.

The exhibition explored the messy yet playful process of failing and coming back stronger, reflecting the students’ courage to embrace imperfection as part of their creative journey. Visitors were able to engage with diverse portfolios, innovative projects, and personal reflections that captured the essence of resilience in design and life.

Exploring the art of paper: CNMT Field trip to Antalis

Kuala Lumpur, 14 March 2025 — Students from the Diploma in Creative New Media Technology programme recently participated in an engaging field trip to Antalis, one of the leading paper suppliers in the region.

The visit provided students with valuable exposure to the diverse range of paper materials available in the design industry. They learned about various paper types, textures, and finishes, as well as their creative applications in print and packaging design.

Held on Friday, 14 March at 10 AM, the session also introduced students to real-world purchasing processes — giving them practical insights into material selection, sourcing, and cost considerations essential for future design professionals.

This educational visit reinforced the importance of understanding materials as a foundation for effective and impactful design, bridging classroom knowledge with industry practice.
