Raffles Kuala Lumpur and Yayasan Kita Bangsa Malaysia (YKBM) signed an MOU on 30 September 2022 to collaborate on a project to provide opportunities to the families of YKBM members in Malaysia with a monthly income of RM5,000 and below (B40 refers to the bottom 40% of households) to improve their socio-economic status by participating in the education and design industries, as well as to enhance their participation in e-commerce.

Raffles Kuala Lumpur will provide Scholarships for its Diploma courses to eligible YKBM members which fall under the B40 Category. This scholarship covers a full waiver of the Admission Fees and Tuition Fees for the selected Diploma courses offered at Raffles Kuala Lumpur for the 2023 Academic Year.

The “Raffles Kuala Lumpur YKBM Scholarship” covers the following courses:

i) Diploma in E-Commerce – 2 placements
ii) Diploma in International Business – 2 placements
iii) Diploma in Entrepreneurship – 2 placements
iv) Diploma in Creative Game Design – 2 placements
v) Diploma in Creative Animation Design – 2 placements

The scholarship recipients are required to complete the Diploma within 2 years and 4 months. The total value of the Scholarship offered for the10 Diploma courses is approximately RM400,000.
