Malaysia’s National Day which is also known as “Hari Merdeka” is celebrated on 31st August, and this year marks the 65th year of our country’s independence.
In conjunction with the 65th Merdeka celebrations, Raffles Kuala Lumpur celebrates the diversity of our student community.

The Fashion Design Talk Series “The Story of Prof Datuk Jimmy Choo OBE”, presented by Dodi Mohammad, founder, and producer of KL Fashion Weekend brings the story of Prof Jimmy Choo as a global Malaysian icon and visionary to the younger generation, as well as encourages entrepreneurship among the younger generation of Malaysians.

Following Raffles Kuala Lumpur and Rtist Malaysia MOU to promote cooperation and the advancement of academic and educational exchanges between both parties, Rtist conducted its first workshop on “Digitalizing Students’ Portfolio” for our Diploma in Creative New Media Technology – Creative Portfolio Class to prepare and showcase their portfolio effectively on Rtist Creative Job Platform.

Phillip Jeffries Sales team flew in from its Singapore headquarters and gave an insightful presentation on Phillip Jeffries products and on why wall covering trends are set to make waves in dressing up interior walls and more.

Continuing with the series of ID Students Field Trips, our final year Diploma students visited LightCraft where they were exposed to real-life applications of various light fixtures and the ergonomic requirements necessary for residential and commercial projects.
